Julia B, Massage Therapist

First Institute proudly presents Julia B, a 2020 graduate of our Massage Therapy program. Julia is self-employed and also works at Element Massage Studio in Lake Geneva.

Julia said she chose FI “because the first moment I walked in everyone was so welcoming. I loved the flexible class hours so I could continue to work, and I had heard raving reviews on the teachers and staff there. The 9-month program fit perfectly into my life plan to get up and running as a LMT as soon as possible. I entered the school at just barely 18 and I loved how no one treated me differently because of that.”

Julia felt that First Institute prepared me for the crazy yet amazing world of working a trade job and how to succeed in it. Julia recommends First Institute, “I recommend FI because I truly love how they bring all ages and all life experiences together. They don’t put anyone above anyone else and the focus is truly on helping you learn the best you can to do what you love in life.”

Julia’s advice to future FI students, “You are enough. You are more than a test grade. If you truly love what you’re doing and keep working towards your goal, you will get through school soon enough and have your own career YOU earned for yourself. Even if you don’t have the best grades in the class, if you pass and have that yearning to get better and reach your goals, don’t let anyone tell you that’s any less than a success.”
